OK, should I do a Windows 10 upgrade?

I have been using Win10 now for approximately 3 weeks now and I can tell you it has been quite a pain in the neck. I have run into issues with drivers and games not being able to open. Seems everything is out of wack. Now I did not do a clean install I just did the upgrade and kept my fingers crossed that it would all just work out. I found out that is just not the case. One thing that makes me really mad is the fact that Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver failed to update automatically. I am now in the process of going back and forth with AsRock about a possible solution (That will be another post). I want to say that I have much respect for Microsoft since the days they battled the U.S. government. But the Windows 10 upgrade update is a no go right now (sorry guys).

In this post I will name a few of the games I and some of my friends encountered that worked and that did not work and how or if we got them working. This will be an ongoing list so check the date I will try and keep it updated when I can find changes. As of now the great deals I got at the “Steam Summer sale” were not “deals” at all.

Age of Mythology: Extended Edition………………………yes

Currently I am cloning my drive from before I upgraded from Win7 I eventually downgraded but even just downgrading made my downloads folder irretrievable which again got me pissed. It is always nice to have a couple HDD lying around for this crap. So I would not recommend updating to Win10 right now wait a couple months and then try and give it a go. As it stands right now you have 365 days from June 29, 2015 so use that time wisely. I do have to add that AsRock got back to me and they are just now applying the Windows 10 upgrade tool sets to their drivers so I will be looking forward to that fingers crossed.
